The Heat is Still On

Rather signifying it through a question given my reservation of a prediction in chorus with that earlier blog post’s subject , my game analyses of the 2011 NBA Finals series proved exact as the Dallas Mavericks won it in 6 games. It’s similarly fitting to have been suggested as to what factor will effect: Making a difference or “teaming up”… Unfortunately for the latter as what the Miami Heat prompted, other than the lack of it with their team abounded with talents, they rather fell short of determination. Ironically, they were so determined to win that they simply relied on confidence given the odds their team’s formation has feted them. They seemed to have underestimated how the Mavericks convincingly got there and in the process sweeping the Western Conference semifinals series against the heavy favorite defending champions. Miami was the heavy favorite to win the NBA Finals series. And more than Dallas being the underdog as my reason for taking on their side (and to indisputably

Customer 101

A lot has been written (and said) on how customer service should be carried out. Most often than not, it is through these insights that give customers such haughtiness; on the face of it, embodying their domineering clout over service providers. How about being the customer – the service-recipient? While wanting to satisfy their needs at the expense of people they feel are under their control, customers forget or are unmindful (and similarly insensitive) of the character behind the person at their disposal. The accusation against them could have been blown out of proportion due to our self-centered inconsiderateness for how could they have not been “that uncaring” if only to likewise care for their family’s source of income. We have to remember that there are at least

Wednesday Socks

Every Wednesday morning, my usual remark addressed to my wife goes something like “Where’s my Wednesday socks?” “You have a certain pair of socks for Wednesdays? – What a loser!” would be a perceptible smirk-inducing thought that she responds with. I make sure I wear thicker socks during Wednesdays. Before you even agree with my wife’s “loser” comment, reason for its use provides more comfort. I walk more often on Wednesdays given the scheduled number-coding traffic scheme. Coincidentally, and as a matter of observation, it usually rain on Wednesdays. To avoid getting drenched, running is made easier with a more comfortable footwear. Thus, a thicker pair of socks serves me just right. As if Wednesday’s hassle isn’t enough, the other day, I’ve been work-analyzing some marketing matter on the lowest foot traffic-generating day on a given month for the past 5 months and true enough, Wednesday tops it all. Alarmed of a possible off-putting turnout, similarly I’ve figured that the l
