Yesterday, a Road Manager was coordinating with us on behalf of her represented celebrity in line with the latter’s scheduled autograph signing and photo op (photograph opportunity). She was keen on suggesting their preferred operation (i.e., set-up; queuing; security, et al.) for the said event. Demanding seemed to be how she expressed their provisions. Understandable as it is, she was making sure the occasion will turn out to be ‘fitting for a star’. How will these stars glitter more without those who outwardly switch their luster on? Then again, one would still considerably wonder how it would be like to be in that celebrity’s ‘comfortable shoes’…
For a minute there, I thought of the wide-ranging difference between the life of the rich and famous and those who rely on salaries for the assurance of the former’s further convenience.
Also, I’ve come to reflect on an article I wrote years back… sharing it with you, read on and appreciate the men behind the production of that what you’re using reading this…

Lifestyles of the Poor and Unknown
What usually compel someone to an impoverish state are the lack of formal schooling and the benefits of a good education due to financial instability.
One outward advantage I can see though is that the poor can presumably get away with a 'booboo' as it would be embarassing if it were someone who, let's say, has had a good education. Though the dullness of understanding isn't intentional, neither is it a privilege. And even if being inadvertently funny is far more acceptable than being the subject of ridicule, plus the fact that elitists are, as a rule, subject to comply with their rather discriminating norms and reserved if not 'boring' demeanors, the underprivileged still wants to get rich while the latter doesn't want to settle for less. It's easier to deal with momentary embarassment assured by comfort than being amusing but shrouded by uncertainties.
Aside from documentaries, dramatic movies and action flicks venerating the 'underdog' protagonist, which ironically are portrayed and produced by rich and famous people, there are no known show that actually depicts the poor and unknown's way of living, the way it's been done in Robin Leach's "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous". Is there nothing worth showing as far as their lifestyles are concerned?
The assumption of its ill success is behind the reluctance of its production. Man's fastidiousness on things triggered by his "I-want-more" attitude is further inspired by materials and standards that tempt to be obtained. "Wow! I want that" is only appropriate for desired things that draw attention thus luring patrons that guarantee more anticipated episodes. Somehow, if it's done satirically and promoted as comedy, chances are, sponsors will be pitching in.
Actually, there's more to the 'lifestyles of the poor and unknown' than just tickle your funny bone. It might even offer a valuable lesson as far as contentment is concerned. The appreciation for what you have is richness in itself. Furthermore, the inspiration that can be drawn from such account is how one will strive to get to the top without greed and deceit standing in the way. Acknowledging where you came from and generosity will likewise play a big role once you are settled up there.
Yet, what is really happening behind those "tattered curtains" and what are those callus-filled hands doing? Unfortunately, necessitated crimes committed by some less fortunate ones instigated by their will to survive and the promise of an assumed better life are linked to those with indigent status. Mind you, but I'm referring to to the honest ones sweating it out and working hard for a living and dedicated at that. After all, destitute criminals are not unknown, They're rather infamous. Much so, they don't qualify for starring roles but villains.
If we're to look at the lifestyles of people on top of the 'economic chain', it's attended-to by the less-regarded people behind both their basic needs and luxurious living. Lavish indeed, though part of which are their servants; from maids that make-up their imposing abodes making it more pleasant and inviting to butlers who open those doors for you and your guests, sparing you from catching your breath sprinting to the sound of the doorbell. Gardeners make sure birds and bees are not just the ones welcome to smell the flowers. And while traveling, may it be on a business trip or a vacation, being a part of their way of life, won't be as hassle-free without their entourage composed of a personal secretary perhaps who run errands for them and their drivers. The chauffer of whom without, celebrities won't arrive in style. Let's not forget the nannies and the baby-sitters tending to their children's needs when they're too busy. The concierge and room boys see to it that their vacation is worth the trip. While dining out, cooks and waiters are as looked-for as the food they serve. More so, behind man's most basic necessity, set forth on dining tables, are the farmers.

'Man does not live on bread alone' could as well be warranted by the material things wealthy individuals possess but these luxuries are also made by mere workers. It would only be fitting for those born with a silver spoon in their mouths to recognize who made their utensils.
These are just a few of the many personalities behind the rich and famous. People who, sometimes due to lack of knowledge and far from perfect, have flaws just like anyone else. The same people who probably product-tested the things you bought, those who have tasted the exquisite food you ordered before it was served. People who are in the same exclusive places where you are and even drove your Benzes, Jaguars and those "that's-more-expensive-than-you-are-so-handle-it-with-care" cars. And just when you're thinking they're practically living the same life as yours though under a different light, they're willing to do more and serve you right; what with the bodyguards who are more than ready to catch a bullet for you and put their lives at stake in your defense. It's not because it's their job but what's more significant than their salaries - nobility.
...and this is "The Lifestyles of the Poor and Unknown!""Cut!"
"Ok, utility men, pack up pack up!"
